WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED?

A consultation! If you fill out the online course project questionnaire, this will help us have a productive discussion about the specs of your online training course project and determine a ballpark figure on cost. If you already have a complete storyboard and script, great! That will certainly speed things up and possibly save on cost. Or, you may know your company needs training, but you are not sure where to start. Maybe it is difficult to explain exactly what your goals or needs are. No problem, we can start from there as well. We pride ourselves in our ability to partner with our clients regardless of a project’s starting point.

 

DO YOU ONLY CREATE TRAINING FOR EMPLOYEES?

Knowledge is power. That is why we create training for every type of audience. In addition to training intended for internal use with an employee audience, we also create training for independent contractors, vendors, and any business associates, as well as public-facing training for a consumer audience. 

 

HOW DO YOU DETERMINE COST?

The following are key factors used in determining a quote for a training project. 

• Length of the course

• Voiceover 

• Level of interactivity

• Existing materials (Are we starting from scratch or do we have something to expand on?)

 

DO I NEED A LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS)?

We recommend an LMS if you wish to track training data, but it is not required to host your online course. We can work together on a course hosting solution that fits your specific needs.

 

WHAT KIND OF SOURCE FILES DO YOU OFFER FOR AN LMS?

cmi5, Tin Can API (xAPI), SCORM 2004, SCORM 1.2, and AICC LMSs

 

HOW LONG WILL MY COURSE TAKE TO MAKE?

All projects are unique, so it really depends on the scope of the project and what material we have to start with. We suggest allowing one month for every 30-minutes of narrated content.
